The DaDs Army Bad Company 2 server is now streaming to PB Bans. Our server also checks against known MD5 hacks. Hopefully this will address some of the chatter on ventrilo and chat that a player is cheating. Nothing is 100% but this should help greatly.

PBBans is a private community that works with game server administrators, players, and subject matter experts to pool their experience and information about cheaters. As cheats are caught through PunkBuster violations, screenshots or demos, they are added to a Master Ban Index. This MBI can then be filtered and downloaded to suit each registered game server admin.

The DaDs Army is now hosting a Battlefield Bad Company 2 Server. You'll find our server in the in-game browse list as The DaDs Army. The server currently supports 24 slots and we'll evaluate expanding that in the future if need be. Non DaDs players may be booted to make room for our paying members.

EA is having some connection issues with their game servers but we're confident it will be resolved soon. Member feedback is encouraged in our forum on how we should administer our BFBC2 server.

The DaDs Army is now running the Star Wars: Galatic Warfare Mod on CoD4 server 69.28.220.115:28961. Once you connect to the server the mod and maps will download automatically. The mod is a total conversion mod that will take you into the Star Wars Universe. You will play as a soldier from the Rebel Alliance or as a trooper of the Imperial Forces using Star Wars weapons and playing on some of the well know locations in the classic Star Wars Universe. The mod is a beta, so it is a work in progress and will be updated on our server as the patches are released.

The DaDs Army is now running the Vietnam Mod on CoD5 server 69.28.220.116. Once you connect to the server the mod and maps will download automatically. The mod will take you to the Vietnam War, deep in Vietnam, where you will fight new battles between the NVA/Vietcongs and the US 1st Cavalry. The mod is a work in progress and will be updated on our server as the patches are released.

The CoD5 1.7 patch has been released. All DaDs CoD5 servers have been patched to this version. This patch fixes a MP server crash exploit. Fixes a voice chat crash on systems with no default recording device selected. Fixes an issue causing erroneous duplicate qport errors. Finally, server admins can disable team switching by setting g_allow_teamchange to 0. Players will be restricted to Auto-Assign in team-based gametypes. The patch can be downloaded from the DaDs files section or download it directly from HERE.

The DaDs Army members have spoken and support the boycott of MW2 if changes are not made. Infinity Ward's PC version of the new shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will lack dedicated servers and mod tools. If Infinity Ward is successful in not allowing dedicated servers, other game makers will follow suit. It will be the beginning of the end for multiplayer games as we know and love them.

You'll be directed into a server that "suits" you. Along with a bunch of immature 12 year olds. No more clans, no more playing with who you want to when you want to. We do not want "console style" gaming on our PC's.

The CoD5 1.6 patch has been released. It includes 3 new multiplayer maps and a new Nazi zombie map. It includes several fixes to various crashes and exploits. The DaDs CoD servers are now all patched to version 1.6. DaDs members can find the new patch in the DaDs files section or download it directly from HERE.

The DaDs Army would like to officially announce and welcome our member [DaDs] Republican as the League Manager. Although Rep has been in this position in some form for a short while it was never officially announced until now. His name is now listed on the DaDs About Us page at the link Management Staff. Rep will work with the squad captains, DaDs HQ, and our members in making our league events happen and run smoothly. He also will moderate all of the DaDs League private forums. The DaDs Army rFactor server reconfiguration is complete thanks to the suggestions and recommendations of our simrace members. Thank you to those that took the time to offer help.

Much of the bloat has been cut which made the download, and install MUCH SMALLER. Original install 20GB, new install 8GB.

Yet, we still managed to add new mods, and tracks to keep it fresh and fun. Included in the update are new track textures for several existing tracks that were not part of the 20 tracks that were removed, as well as several custom DaDs skins already in place.
