Well… it’s that time of year again. Time for everyone to stand up, sign up, and fight in the DaDs Army Charity Event! Yes, people, it is that time of year again where we all take some time out of our increasingly busy lives to fight evil in the world. AND we get to do it while having fun! Not only that, but also this year we are expanding our scope. Don’t play much MOH anymore because of games like COD or Battlefield 2… no problem! You can play those games this year. That’s right people… this year is players choice. If your clan wants to play against the DaDs Army in a COD match… BRING IT ON! How about a nice round of BF2… we got some crack players willing to tutor you for an hour.
But maybe a first person shooter isn’t your thing? Okay… we will also throw in the game IL2:Aces Expansion Pack. That’s right, a flying game. Guess you never knew that the DaDs Army has a small but dedicated core of DaDs Air Force too. So come on people and let’s get rocking this year. This year we are going back to our core and playing for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital (PCH).
Being in the DaDs Army is only possible if you are a parent. So as you can all understand, children are one of the central points in our lives… if not the most central. The PCH is our kind of place because of this. The PCH is considered the very best hospital in the U.S. for dealing with multiple-birth pregnancies. If you’re having more than one kid, this is the place to be. Their doctors are celebrated the world over and they take any kind of pregnancy problems in stride and with dedication and feeling. But the PCH goes beyond that. PCH has programs in place to help the families that need their services. Multiple-birth situations often have many medical problems associated with the pregnancy and the delivery. Often mothers must come to the PCH for extended stays while dealing with these problems.
Where the Phoenix Children’s Hospital steps beyond their peers is by offering to help immediate family stay near the mother during her time there. Nothing can be more frightening than having to deal with the many issues during multiple-birth pregnancies… except maybe having to face them alone. PCH tries to make sure that no mother must face that situation. To further recommend them we could go on and on about their work with children after birth. Diabetes, appendicitis, AIDS, brain tumors, cancer, congenital heart defects, meningitis, intestinal disease and accidents of all kinds are just some of what the PCH deals with in their hospital with children.
